Tattoes, are they good or we will look like real monsters?

I have always been in favour of tattoes, well, I have always been in favour of leaving people alone, and letting them do whatever they want to do as long as they don't disturb anyone. I also have always thought that it depends on what tattoo are you going to have on your skin. I believe that every tattoo has to have real meaning for each person, I think it is not good to ''dye'' your skin with different types of tattoes that don't mean anything to you. What if one day something happens to you and it affectes you so much that you want to tattoo yourself but you cannot do it because you have already tattoed all your skin and there is not space left? That would be really sad for you.
Two years ago, as I had explained in a post before, my dog died, he was like a brother to me, I've always treated him as a real person because to me he was like a human, he was so smart that he knew everything I needed. He was the baby of my house and we treated him like that.  Since the day of his death, and even before, I have always wanted to tattoed myself because he has meant a world to me and I couldn't find any better way to demonstrate how much love I could have inside of me for him than tattoo myself, so I went to the shop and I tattoed his footprint with a heart inside it.
Many people won't understand this, but a pet, different from people, are always there to help you without caring about anything else, they are always there when you are sad to make you happier. They don't have to worry about anything, they just live giving us thanks everyday for making their lives better, or at least trying to make them better.
Last Monday I finally got the tattoo I have been waiting for almost 5 or 6 years, so I am really happy right now.
To sum up, please don't be silly and if it doesn't mean anything to you, don't tattoo yourself with a drawing because it won't have any sense. A tattoo is something that will stay in your skin with you your whole life, so think about it before doing it, it is not a foolishness.
